WANG Kehua born November 1962, from Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, Chinese Communist Party member, Ph.D, researcher of Jiangsu Institute of Poultry Science, and young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Jiangsu Province. He also serves as a post expert of the National System for Layer Production Technology, a member of the National Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee of the Poultry Professional Committee, a vice-chairman of China LayerGenetic Improvement Program Expert Group, the executive director of the Poultry Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, a vice-chairman of the Poultry Professional Committee of the Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee of Jiangsu Province, and editorial board member of "China Poultry". He has been engaged mainly on the utilization of local chicken genetic resources, and has successively presided over 50 projects at the national and provincial level. He has presided over the breeding of poultry breeds (synthetic lines), including Suqin green-shelled layer, Shendan No.6 green-shelled layer and Suqin yellow chicken No.2. He has won 16 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological achievement awards and published more than 100 papers.
