Ma Qiugang, Ph.D. of Animal nutrition, professor of Chinese Agricultural University, doctor supervisor, director of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science Department, and guest doctoral supervisor of Hohenheim University (Germany). He has gained lots of talent titles: new century excellent talents in support of Ministry of Education; scientist of China Agriculture Research System and director of Feed Nutrition Function; director of Animal Nutrition Branch of Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society; executive director and deputy secretary general of Beijing Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society; editorial board member of Journal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition, Toxins, and Feed Research. He has won 1 National Scientific and Technological Progress Award (second prize), 2 Science and Technology Progress Awards of Agriculture Ministry (first prize), 3 Science and Technology Progress Awards of Beijing (second prize), 2 Science and Technology Progress Awards of Beijing (third prize), 2 China Patent Excellence Awards, and 6 other Awards. He has won many teaching achievements including 1 nation-level quality textbook Award and 1 provincial and ministerial Excellent Science and Technology Book Award. He has been granted 24 national invention patents, and published 260 scientific papers in domestic and foreign journals, including 70 SCI papers (42 as first or corresponding authors among them). He has published 2 books as chief editor, 2 as deputy chief editor and 5 as editor.
